LOVELAND, CO - The Colorado Eagles had two goals this weekend: beat the Tucson Roadrunners and raise money for a family in need. After an action packed weekend, both goals were achieved. The Eagles took down the Roadrunners twice in two dominant wins: 6-2 on Saturday the 22nd and 5-3 on Sunday the 23rd. On Saturday, the team saw goals from Jason Polin (41), Jayson Megna (21), Chris Wagner (14), and Tye Felhaber (48). Sunday featured goals from Chase Bradley (38), Mark Senden (15), Tye Felhaber (48), and Chad Hillebrand (45). The weekend success was topped off with a successful fundraiser. On Saturday, the Eagles hosted their annual Pot of Gold game raising money for the Mellon Family. Josh Mellon who suffers from childhood-onset dystonia. These two wins further secured the Eagles' hold on first place in the Pacific Division and the Western Conference as well as third place in the league.
